She'll probably get a full or greater refund as Text said because while the "too many Spaniards" is the thing that the papers ran with (because click-bait) there a number of reasons for her complaint, including not accommodating her mobility issues.
Of course the papers would run with the
"too many Spaniards in the Spanish hotel" thing. What does a comment like that deserve other than ridicule?
Her mobility issues were taken care of, they moved her to a different flat.
Should've accept the partial refund offered instead of demanding a full one.
I think there was also the issue that the location of the accommodation as she wanted to be on flat ground rather than somewhere hilly? I guess it will depend on the description provided by Thomas Cook in their promotional literature.
I would have accepted a partial refund as I couldn't be bothered to pursue the matter but it seems to mean a lot to this woman as it came from her pension money and she had been saving for sometime to go away.
Not condoning her comments about too many Spaniards as they were asinine but I can appreciate why going for a full refund might be important to her.
