What was your favourite one?

the best little whorehouse in texas.

which was yours?

Dolly's tits are embedded into my memory after that one, you gotta love Dolly. I hope she sings at his funeral :wubwub:

I really loved the Smokey series, fast cars, CB radio and a girl called frog
I think I’m right in saying that Dolly wrote “I will always love you” about Burt because they were in Best Little Whorehouse together, the song immortalised by the late great Whitney Houston.
Or is it an urban myth?

Sheeeeiiiiiiit!

One of the few man who could rock the tache :bawlin:

Just watching Burt on an old interview on the news, he seemed to regret not taking more serious roles but he did enjoy himself by all accounts and he probably had no regrets about his lifestyle.

It's an urban myth. She wrote it in 1973 for Porter Waggoner when she ended their 7 year long professional relationship to go solo. It was to thank him for giving her her big TV break on his show.

Wasn't really a fan.. didn't go out my way to catch his films.

But what a performance in deliverance. Still some scenes I can't watch.
