It seems the whole courtship ritual has been reversed by apps like Tinder.

The old way: get to know someone, establish a connection, have sex = form a relationship.

The new way: have sex, establish a connection, get to know someone = form a relationship.

I better pray I'm never single again as I would go down in flames in the modern dating world!

But isn’t Tinder set up mainly for people who want to skip the courtship/dating stage and go right to fucking? I suppose people can still build a relationship from that, but other sites might be better if they were looking for more than a quick hook-up.

Dunno. I've never used the thing.

I thought it was supposed to replicate being a bar where you go by someone's physical attractiveness and want to get to know them better.
