Its a lot less confrontational on there since the likes of Jilly and Wizzy got banned. They have a lot to do with how it all became so tribal.

What I mean is that politics always had its moments but overall it functioned fine as a forum until Jilly and Wizzy set up their secret forum to plot and scheme against members they wanted to get banned. That changed the entire dynamics of the forum.

No it fucking didn't. Brexit changed the entire dynamic of the forum. It was bearable following the announcement of the referendum, got increasingly tedious in the 6 months leading up to it and ever since has descended into an interminable wit-void of an echo chamber for screeching, pissy-knickered remainer monomaniacs who are not even remotely interested in anything resembling a debate.

Aside from providing some all-too-brief hilarity following the general election (along with the flounce-o-tron Annsyre), Jilly and Wizzy are of no consequence whatsofuckingever.

At one point Wizzywick had something like 25 sock accounts. You can't say his behaviour didn't shape what DS Politics has become because it did.

Yes there was a point when Labour supporters were few and far between (aside from pauli89/Jol44 banging his lone shill drum), but it was nowhere near as toxic as it is now.
