Xmas decorations

I lost a dear friend this year who will forever live on my heart. She gave me some Christmas tree lights last year that are now shining on my xmas tree. They were on the tree last year too but now they have a story and every time I look at it I'm reminded of the goodness of her.

She's still alive in your memory and in those of others.

That reminds of American Horror Story when one of the nuns decided to decorate the Christmas tree in the insane asylum with the patients' hair!

Decorations like that are why flamethrowers were invented.

I've been given a beautiful hand made wreath full of bird seed and nuts. Now hanging on my pear tree. Birds are a bit weary of it but give it a few days and they'll be tucking in.

How so? We have wreaths on each external door for Christmas. I notice that some folk are hanging wreaths for different seasons and events now too, eg spring wreaths and Halloween wreaths, all commercially available and nothing "sick" about them afaik
