My kids hated going out to school and leaving the tree in the house, no sure what will happen this year because one of them works now. Maybe the 18th but that feels early. No Christmas songs til tree goes up and we have mince pies and mulled wine and open our box of roses or quality street, it’s our favourite part of the whole time. It usually involves a fight about the lights not being even enough, it’s changed because the kids have a drink with us now but we love putting our tree up together, their girlfriends want in on the act but the kids said eh...no.
White lights on tree, no tinsel, and hardly any decorations about the house just candles and some stars hanging off the end of the curtain rods.
Top of the tree? Fairy or a Big Star?
Do you like a decent fairy Raven?

A red pillar box?
It's a postal worker emptying a box in the snow, unnoticed yet relied on by those passing by. I quite like the import.

So do I
There should be more Christmas stamps of a similar ethos - maybe something like a busy A&E desk with nurses/doctors in Santa hats. Or a fire station with pimped-up trucks in a Christmas theme.

The card that came with it has a blown up version for context.

Behind, but hopefully not downwind in his case.
