Someone handed me a bottle of Jack Daniels a couple of days ago.
I said thank you with a smile while behind the smile I'm thinking oh no not this shit.
It has to be the worse whiskey I ever drank.
I've opened it and yeah I haven't changed my mind .... thought I might have as tastes change.
I'm drinking it now drowned in ice cubes and coke .... diet coke of course.
Acceptable this way.

I found a bottle of Courvoisier last night - God alone knows how old it is! None of us drink anymore but I won't be gifting this one! It's handy to keep for guests. Try to keep a couple of beers in as well, you never know who'll appear.
I thought I had gifted all the brandy away but this one had been hiding!

I am so with you on this matter, it is dreadful shite and I cannot even bear thinking about the taste --which is like drinking whisky and charcoal
