Not long now

Not long now until 2019 - so what are your plans for the biggest party night of the year?

We're staying local, village pub is always a good shindig, live band, buffet, all outside on the road for Auld Lang Syne then bring the New Year back in for toasts and bring the band back on again.

Can't wait :twirl:

Staying home like I have done for years now.
Drinking and maybe watching Jools Holland but it's gone down hill the last few years.

I generally dislike NYE but we're away this year so all being well I'll be sipping fizz in a hot tub.

The fireworks are worth watching while pissed as a fart wondering what the year ahead holds! :Wiiiine!:

NYE has made me feel a little bit sad in recent years.

This NYE will be different. I plan on having a really good time... :smilin:

Glad to hear it's less painful now. So hope you have a great start to it, and have a good time while out.

I think it's probably time, Mes  At least, that's what my mates keep yelling at me.

Thanks. Wish the same for you :Wiiiine!:

I'm maybe having a night before NYE. Hubby and I both don't drink but he's not as social as me - plus he hates going out nowadays. I have been asked by two different people to go out on the same freekin' night, so I am trying to coax them into meeting in one pub rather than traipsing from one to the other.
I get a notion for a beer now and then but I always remember how I wake in the morning regretting it and that stops me. Used to always have a massive party at ours on NY's day - it was the clearing up behind it I detested. :bawlin:
