It’s an informative read, I’m not Muslim and my parents weren’t as strict as most Asians were with their daughters but it expresses the angst of trying to reconcile the two different worlds well.

For those who are interested of course, the rest can keep picking out fluff from their belly buttons.

(At least I was allowed out as long as they thought I was at the library, a lot can happen in a library).

Some religions... seem to suffocate the women. Thankfully slowly things are changing.

only in a room where Women are not present. there is only so far depletion of hormones would work. there is still an evolutionary psychological factor. Men act differently in Women's company using a few tactics. softer tone, eloquent speech. or challenging others demonstrating that his superior ability to control and direct debate in the hope that is what She is attracted to.

What about them?

Boudica was the iceni Chieftains Wife (celtic tribes did use slavery, it wasn't the the best time for Women, not the worst either!). Her Daughter was raped by romans that demanded tax's for the occupation, forgetting that they where guests, nullifying agreements in a violent fashion. She wasn't the best tactician although Her guerrilla campaign was highly effective. Who knew 5,000 legionries in formation could defeat 100,000 warriors?

the first Female Pharoes had the best reigns out of the majority of their Male counterparts, economic and civil projects where the most prosperous of the time. that could be attributed to the reign before? though much of the historical records were destroyed shortly after their deaths. propaganda campaigns waged against them where brutal. and during their reigns they still had to portray them Selves with Male attributes. the only exception was Cleopatra, she was greek (I don't think born in greece but spent much of Her childhood there) and could get away being more Feminine. She did lead some strong defensive campaigns against the romans and the dirty political games played! but egypt and greece had well passed their hay day by that time.

english female monarchies definitely have been impressive. My favorite for economics and tactical warfare was the Lady of mercia. sister to Edward the 2nd if I recall correctly? but how does that indicate Women's Lives in general where better?
