Although speaking from experience, after about -25 it’s just fucking cold and an extra -20 degrees doesn’t feel any different. Life-threatening if you go out unprepared though.


You get to throw a cup of boiling water and watch it freeze before it hits the ground. That seems to be compulsory when it's that cold!

Woke up to snow everywhere.

Decided that it was great time to drive into the Scottish lowlands. The white hills and mountains were stunning, as were the snow-topped evergreen forests and fields. Hardly any cars on the roads - bliss.

Called off at a Scottish Co-op to top-up our post-Brexit victual bunker.
