Looks quite heavy down his way.

'Deed ah did.

Scraped three inches of snow off of the car and got in early because no-one else was stupid enough to go to work. Loaded up an easy day and shot off to TA6. BW was well gritted and the roads were dead, finished early to greet a table full of doughnuts and cakes that management had put out to thank us for the effort.

Back in BW Letters had been sent home and DPD closed their local depot, snowflakes :gigglesnshit:

And yes, my leg flesh was on display!

Pneumonia is no laughing matter at your age you know :shake head:

Arthritis in the knees will get him first.

Had a new central heating control fitted yesterday and forgot to set it properly. Woke up this morning and it was 16 degrees centigrade inside, bloody freezing. The Scandinavians must laugh at us every time we freak out at a bit of cold weather and a few inches of snow.

Anything below 19 degrees indoors feels cold to me. Perfect indoor temp for me is about 21. Not warm warm, but warm enough that I don't feel like I need to put a jumper on.

I have a work colleague who is Russian... she showed us videos of her nieces & nephew in swimming gear.. throwing ice cold water over themselves from a bucket.. it's the done thing apparently!

And some moan about a little chill

I would be roasting at that.

I5 is usually my right temp inside. Gone up to 17 the last few days due to the chill in the air. Been in & out a fair bit though, feels like I have stepped into a sauna everytime I come in
