so long as the yolk is runny it makes little difference how it is cooked. why don't You just poach the egg in water Gabby?

Because it doesn’t hold and most of the white detaches itself from the yolk! :mrgreen:

I’ve tried that, swirling the water too.... I end up with something that looks more like scrambled eggs! :laughing:

I love them in any shape or form.... but do love a good poached egg :razz: .... I gave up on all the various gadgets for poaching eggs, so now just do them in ramekins in a pan of boiling water.... perfect! :thumbsup:
