I love them in any shape or form.... but do love a good poached egg .... I gave up on all the various gadgets for poaching eggs, so now just do them in ramekins in a pan of boiling water.... perfect!

They retain the heat and keep the egg cooking for a minute or two after you have removed it from the boiling water, just make sure that you butter it before you crack an egg in it
