Don't worry - be happy! Good things to smile at

A right load of bollocks...

Don't worry - be happy! Good things to smile at

Postby LordRaven » Tue Mar 19, 2019 1:35 pm

A lot of things that happen in the world today are horrible, heartbreaking and miserable etc --and it does make us feel bad.
However we must sometimes remember that wonderful things too do happen, like this particular individual...

Life is one big shit butty, with thin sliced bread and extra shit, but some of it can be be good - surely?

You have just done that by making a cheap point from a serious comment. :shake head:

The plight of the wee girl is far from happy - I feel deep sadness at what she must face in later life.

I fail to see what is happy about a 5 year old with no limbs

I suppose the one bright spot is that she was too young when this terrible tragedy happened to have any recollection of life with limbs

inspiring maybe, but happy?

edit - I see similar has been said

That doesn't make me happy either, Raven.

Your motive for a "happy" thread is honourable - but your example serves to sadden.

a tired, cold, disabled girl being touted in front of the camera for the mawkishly sentimental isn't happy news, lord raven.
