Nope just commenting on how it's never very long before Whedonite in particular turns up on any thread that has anything to do with women or sexism or finds a way to impose that discussion on a thread that has nothing to do with it by picking at individual comments.

No, she usually just pulls up the male posters who act like they’re so hard done by and women are so privileged. A lot of them are like that.

I've just seen the thread about the slaughter of a (peacefully sleeping) lion, by yet another Billy Big Bollocks 'hunter'.

I never click on links like that - so why the fuck did I do it this time!

Senseless, traumatising and utterly heartbreaking. It makes the bleating going on in other threads pale into insignificance...

I always avoid threads like that on DS because it's just a grief porn party inside but I wish you hadn't posted about it so graphic here, you've done what they've done despite protesting how much you hate it.

Take heart in one thing, there was a recent story about a pride of lions killing and eating their poachers. So it's not all bad news!

I wonder how many people viewed the New Zealand massacre/terrorist incident. I never click on stuff like that and warn my lot not to. Once seen, it cannot be unseen and could really cause mental distress. What's that saying about looking into the abyss and it looking back into you, there is something in that.

I've always thought there is something wrong with people who actively seek out terrorist videos. What do they gain emotionally or knowledge wise from watching it?

It would destroy your soul watching people being slaughtered. It would seriously traumatise me. Reading about it and hearing the survivors is hard enough.
I'm in the middle of the Madeleine McCann documentary on Netflix. That's a mystery that will never be solved.

Was tempted to check that out, but my utter contempt for the McCanns stopped me. Cleo, I cannot stand to look at them. But that's another story...

There is something so off with the McCanns and not even in an I think they did it way (I don't). It's Gerry more than Kate that makes me so uncomfortable, he has something very, very unpleasant and even sinister about him. I've felt it from day one and it was such a relief when voicing a negative opinion about them started to become more acceptable, even if the trolls take it too far.
