How often do you go out?

A right load of bollocks...

How often do you go out?

Postby Vam » Sat May 18, 2019 2:56 pm

I don't mean for everyday reasons, like shopping, school runs or walking the dog etc. I mean go out to socialise with friends/family.

The reason I'm asking is because a mate tried to guilt-trip me by saying "You're doing that frikkin recluse thing again!", when I didn't fancy meeting up for a lunch  (I wouldn't mind, but I'm seeing most of them tomorrow anyway!)

So it got me thinking...is it wrong to just enjoy being home? Me, I'm good with getting together with friends a couple or so times a week.

Not often. I dread preparing for it and the anticipation drives me crazy. I've recently joined a dating site and am already getting the sweats in case I get any replies. :yikes:

That said, when I finally get off of my arse I end up having the time of my life :dunno:

I still can't believe that there isn't a fabulous kindred spirit for you, in among all those LibDem movers and shakers you're mixing with these days.

Once a week averaged - depends what's to do and how bored I am not doing it. Used to be a lot more when I was young.

 .....I hear you. Big city life - I've more than had my fill (& then some!)

Thing is though, I never get bored when I'm home. Time really does seem to fly by.

I don't get bored at home much either - I go out more for health and welfare reasons.

And yes, sadly time flies by. :(

Bar work was like that for me, it was a night out and I got paid for it! I'm still getting used to the concept of bank holidays and annual leave.

I've never worked in the entertainment industry - I've always thought it must be like living life the wrong way round in an odd kind of way.

Hospitality and catering, it was entertaining at times.

We know someone who runs a seaside guest house - works like a dog but as happy as a pig in shit. Quite beyond us tbh, but different strokes... :dunno:
