What I find interesting is this idea that some men think women have all the sexual power. Because we can say no? That's a bit pathetic really. Why are (some) men encouraging this notion that men are ruled by their hormones/penis?
Avon said some good things, I think many men do feel like their purpose in society has been eroded with women being more vocal and independent than in the past. And unfortunately there are those who will exploit that sense of disenfranchisement, encouraging men to lash out against their perceived enemy. Just as Islamic extremists are good at bringing disenfranchised muslims under their wing. Their hurt is given a voice, that voice is heard, and told their desire to right that imbalance (often through violence) is justified.
What started as a desire to give men a fairer shake in terms of divorce and child custody has been hijacked by a much darker agenda. Very scary stuff.
Mac thinks he’s stuck in that film ‘Fight Club’, but really he’s just stuck in Cumbria.
(You’ve made some good points Nucks).
We have the M6 - goes all the way to Scotland.
No wonder they want independence.
