Actually, the opposite is true - one of the more sobering realisations is that internet personas will outlive the people behind them, possibly for thousands of years.

Indeed, a futuristic Time Team type of programme will have data archeologists given 3 days to delve through a newly discovered chat forum site from a thousand years before and they will be poring over the One's and Zero's trying to work out what "Fuck off you fat Brummy Cunt" means in whatever lingo they'll be speaking in years to come.

Probably think it’s a reference to Shakespeare.

They'll probably use some kind of digital Rosetta Stone and work out that some of kind of Legendary leader called Fat Boy Dean The Trolling Twat ruled over a Kingdom called Bedsit and went on great missions dressed as a Troll
