Not too cold, not too hot.

I have to agree

can't beat a bit of temperate

Above around 27 degrees it starts getting too hot for me, especially if there is high humidity.

I generally like UK weather as there are few extremes and most days are different and unpredictable. Having the same weather all the time is boring whether it be (too) hot or cold. That's also why I like the sea around the UK coasts as it changes every day.

Even during the recent 'heatwave' there were random showers and thunderstorms, depending on where you were.

Sun is fine if one wants to bask in it for a couple of weeks on your holiday, but would one want months of pretty constant sun all year round or months of deep cold winter.

There are also the expressions 'If it rains, I let it' and 'If you can see <insert location> it is going to rain. If you can't see <insert location>, it is already raining'.

I’m not sure if you’re aware Raving, but the weather isn’t the same all over the world...

I might just succumb to putting the heating on for a while today if the sun doesn’t show.... problem there is, once I put it on it rarely goes off again, that’s why I hold back! .... and it’s only August FFS! :ooer:

You'll get that if you've watched Die Hard 3.
