Fucksake, how is Cornwall so far away. In my head its turn left at Bristol and then it's an hour away.

Bristol was barely halfway :bawlin:

:ooer: ... jeez...look at this - bumping up a post from several days ago, as an excuse to quote and talk to yourself again.

I realise I'm giving you the attention you crave from me, but I'm only doing that to repeat what I said in the DS thread: Just evict me from inside your head, cos this really isn't rational healthy behaviour.

Not since Huntertwat has there been such a fixated deranged freak... :ooer:

Where do you holiday if you live in Spain Vam? There are plenty of nice places to go in that country itself and Portugal plus France just over the borders.

Every day's a holiday where I live, LR  But yeah, I've been all over Spain - love Seville & beautiful Barcelona especially.

Used to travel much more extensively when I lived in London - mostly long haul. Nowadays, it takes a lot for me to be arsed to do airports. But I'm looking forward to Costa Rica at Christmas/NY.

I went to CR recently, was good, we especially enjoyed the cuisine there, but was a bit too commercialised for us so we won't be back.

I like driving around Italy and Spain and visiting new places. Not long ago I went to Toro and Salamanca (I found the frog above the grand door at the uni) and I also went to Vallodolid and caught a train to Madrid and then onwards to Alicante to see friends there.

I also saw The House Of Shells and that beautiful square in Salamanca...

The House of Shells is in the Gothic style. Its construction was begun at the end of the 15th century, although it also has Renaissance and Mudejar elements.

... and did you have good luck in the year after you spotted it?

WTG, btw - I had to have it pointed out to me, and even then I still struggled to see it!

If you enjoy driving in Italy, the stunning Ligurian and Amalfi coasts are hard to beat. But you probably already know that ...

Just back from a bit of holiday shopping (any excuse) :leer:

Bought a gorgeous new evening bag and matching purse. That's the essentials out of the way, must renew travel insurance, that can be a job for tomorrow.
