Mistake? I don't think so. You mention vegan all the time. Vegan cheese, vegan butter, vegan burgers, vegan fry up al infinitum. You are a fake. You were trying to be the superior moral person.

I eat vegan food but I can't be a hundred percent vegan because of my tablets, hope that clears it up.

That's like me saying I don't deliberately eat meat, But if the wife slips a steak on the plate. Well then I'll have to eat it.
Are you also saying you don't use any leather products, like shoes belts or jackets?

No, it's nothing like that.

Ok, for the simple minded amongst you, I do not eat or drink anything that comes from an animal apart from the gelatine in my tablets that I have no choice in. There is no alternative. I do t use leather products, never have, although I only stopped consuming animal products at the end of last year. I wear converse which I have had for a couple of years and rubber wellies and I've just been gifted a pair of vegan boots made from some micro fibre synthetic stuff.

tesco added 270 products which expanded its vegan range by 900%. now I'm no mathematician but I think that means they had less than 35 previously, that's poor

According to xtras and bessie, it appears vegetarians still love the taste of meat too. So much so that they wish to buy and cook something that looks and tastes exactly like fried bacon
How does that work with a vegetarian, who brings up a child as a vegetarian (and I presume the child has never tasted meat) Is given a fake rasher for lunch.

I don't see why it matters. No animal has been killed which is the point of vegetarianism.

However, the animals you get vegetarian products from are mostly killed, so that's non sequitur. If you truly want animals not to be killed; it's far better to be a vegan, not a vegetarian.
