Sunday, a day of rest.

A right load of bollocks...

Sunday, a day of rest.

Sat on the sofa watching it and the ladies winner looks to have set a new world record and a home grown girl came in with 3rd fastest time ever.
Sir Mo Farah seems to be battling away, I do hope he wins but some guy called Tola is really pushing the pace and trying to destroy him.
It is tiring just watching this. How do these people do such energetic things on Sundays?
I am doing the the normal, washing, ironing a few shirts and watching TV, plus feedings the birds in the garden --which might get some tidying today.

Sir Mo Farah won again for the 6th year on the trot :yikes:
His fastest win there ever. :yikes:
After his double double olympic wins and so many medals he continues to astound.
What a man!

For myself the spin cycle is on and I will soon be on to ironing and preparing a rather large chicken stew.
It is a bit nippy out there, so changing eating habits seems a good idea.

I have been having booze free weekends to recover from the week, do jobs at home I have no time for during the week, and also get ready for the next week.

Plus I actually get time to cook properly.

I work nights so the days of the week tend to blur into one with me.

Not complaining I don't get the Sunday night dreads any more.

I haven't held a job for very many years - but I never rest. Rest is for the dead.
