I think Boris Johnson is a political opportunist. He will add social justice to his policies if he thinks it will gain votes. He will stop fracking if he thinks it will gain votes. I think he sees himself as the person to make good on the Conservatives Promise in the run-up to 2015 General Election. To give the people a choice on the EU and if the people want out - to deliver out. If enough people want something and there is a media outcry over it - then BoJo will give it.

Tactical voting isn't becoming mainstream amongst staunch Tory and Labour voters. It's an issue with the smaller parties.
