What are you missing?

A right load of bollocks...

What are you missing?

Postby Bella » Sun Apr 05, 2020 9:00 pm

Apart from the obvious family stuff etc, a good crack (as they say around here) with friends and a drink or few.

My sister has chosen not to drink here, as she does, no idea why as I know she enjoys a drink when she's with her London friends.I feel her disapproving if I have a wine or two, the Lads room has become like I feel I'm going into some sort illegal drinking den for a glass of wine. :ooer:

The hustle and bustle of my life.
People coming and going.
People ringing the doorbell.

Popping to the shops on the days I feel well enough. I'm self-isolating as I've got pre-existing health issues so although I'm more used to being at home than many, I do miss being able to indulge myself when I get a good day.

I also miss the people who pop in and out of the house on a weekly basis. I live with two other family members and the comings and goings they had going on were a distraction for me when I wasn't feeling so great.

It adds a bit of a different dimension to the house, I may be broadcasting to the Nation from his decks soon.

No wine tonight, scavenged in the cellar and found some homemade stuff but it was horrid. Bottle of the husbands Wainwrights tonight.

Peace and quiet, I rarely get out so honestly I’m not noticing much difference but my husband is here all the time and he’s like a bee bizzing around, it’s frazzling my skull.

I miss seeing my mum and my sister though and we had planned a few weekends away which aren’t happening now, I feel like sneaking but I don’t think it’s worth it for a few nights in Edinburgh because we’d only be going out to eat and drink.

My Fridays, Saturday and Sundays alone when wife usually goes out then to her friends. Doesn't stay in since daughter died much as it'll send her mad she says. I'm always in though. Can't have any music on even low "it's giving me a headache" Fuck me it's only on low.
