Watching PSG demolish RB Leipzig now.

I do love this world cup format. :smilin: :awesome:

PSG were great entertainment, a very capable team without doubt.

I really couldn't have asked for a better baptism of fire as Leeds commence their return to the top flight.

Liverpool v Leeds United 12th September 15:00 :canny: :canny: :canny: :awesome:

The Community Shield match yesterday with Arsenal beating Liverpool on penalties was rather boring tbh.
Liverpool seem to have lost their mojo and Arsenal seem to be playing very well under the stewardship of Arteta.

Liverpool v Leeds on the 12th has now been switched to 17.30 for Sky Main Event :canny:

"Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool side will take on Marcelo Bielsa's newcomers Leeds in a Saturday night clash at Anfield in front of the Sky Sports cameras on the opening day of the new term."

Back in the top tier, at long last :awesome:

I don't give a damn if we win lose or draw, it's being back where we belong that is important

What a game! 5 goals in 32 minutes and Liverpool eventually winning 4-3 but as an introduction to the Premier League it was a magnificent performance from Leeds. The two central defenders only met each other 5 days before the match so plenty to work on but I am ever so pleased for Leeds. A truly magnificent effort.
Sadly Fulham got battered 3-0 by Arsenal at the Cottage, the latter look very very good and I think they will do really well this season.

I'm more excited about Arsenal under Arteta, than I have been for several seasons.

Two trophies in the cupboard already and some big scalps along the way.

He's building a good squad with a good attitude, and in Aubameyang we have one of the most clinical finishers in world football.

Are you including the community shield as a trophy?

I have to agree, Arsenal are looking really good and Arteta has them playing great football.
They are entertaining to watch and Willian (great player) has seamlessly fitted in.

Why not? It is a trophy after all.

I don't usually, but I heard someone say it during the commentary yesterday.

Winning a trophy usually means winning a competition, and the CC isn't that. It is literally a trophy though, and we did win it, so I'm happy to go along with it
