Has anyone ever come across a fresh carrot that tastes remotely like those fucking tinned things?
Peas of all kinds beans of all kinds fine and the spuds for frying nothing else though.
Takes seconds to scrape a carrot.

I use the tinned sliced carrots, no added salt or sugar, for the dog.

Carrots are only edible when they are mashed with butter.
That also goes for sprouts and swede.

I don't buy canned veg but i wouldn't turn my nose up at carrots or sweetcorn. Would never try a canned potato. I got used to buying frozen during lockdown. Not that bad. I was quite impressed with the sliced frozen peppers and diced onion. Cooking made simple!

Wait just one minute. Tinned spuds are great deep fried

Who actually eats any canned veg?

Me. Nearly every day. Can't be bothered cooking fresh. Green beans, carrots, broad beans, garden peas, mushy peas, butter beans.

For someone who does nothing all day and (by your own admission) you get lardier by the day, to the point of feeling breathless, why not make an effort ffs.

You are the sort who produces loads of empty cans every time you prepare a simple meal or snack.
Canned veg is often preserved in unhealthily salty fluid .... and this fluid (be it brine or plain water, surely leaches out most of the vitamins) - is usually discarded before cooking.

Why do you always proudly announce things that no one should be proud of, CS ?
