"What is the meaning of life?" (I did a thread on it and some good sports tried to answer but of course no one really knows).

Life is a natural biological function brought about by natural processes.
It’s nothing to worry about until sentient beings evolve and start to question it.

A natural process that is still far from being understood well enough.

Ever considered the Earth knows it is threatened by celestial forces so created us to reduce the probability of its own destruction?

It's a kind of trick question, it's based on a presupposition (that life really does have a 'meaning') so anyone trying to answer it directly becomes committed to that presupposition.

I think meaning and purpose in this context becomes indistinguishable. The presupposition being we have purpose so there must be meaning?

You are talking about Mr Diracs electron equation. Wrote a summery of a documentary by Mr Jim Al Khlili near ten years ago about it...in that regard if the bbc got rid of their news and bias documentaries sticking to scientific facts i would give them my completely biased support. But not with the current propaganda and biased reporting!
