I think this is one of the best pieces of modern music produced. For it's time and for this time. Is it pop is it rock who cares. More or less every modern tune has a solo instrument piece usually in the middle. This one has it at the beginning which was and is very unusual. Such a powerful opening leaves the rest of the track in danger of being a bit of a letdown maybe but this band pull it off remarkably. Sax piano the flute bit is actually synth ...and guitar and vocals. There's a line in the song about giving up the booze and the one night stands... he died of the Glasgow disease ... alcoholic heroin addiction. For me this is one of the most perfectly put together tunes and the gentle vocals somehow fit in there perfectly. A perfect piece maybe. Gerry Rafferty - Baker Street

Because I've listened to some of your own music, and also to some of the music videos you posted over the years I just had a feeling you might like him. He was in New Zealand last year, that's how I became aware of him.
