I had a nice roast chicken for tea last night and there's loads left so I've picked the carcase and got around 600gm off of it, the rest has gone in a pan with some water to render down for a couple of hours. I'll chop some garlic and onion finely and gently warm them with some olive oil until they melt before adding the chicken stock and some chicken gravy that's hanging around in the fridge, chuck in some diced roots and celery and let it simmer for a while. In the meantime I'll make some small roasties in the SC and once the roots have softened they will be added along with the shredded chicken. I'm keeping the skin to one side so that I can grill it to crispy and drop it in at the end

Very nice chicken curry with onion bhajis.
Lunch time was three slices of bread and butter... reminded me of my childhood in the 50's.
Didn't want anything else on the bread.
Honey loaf from LIDL.
Will be back for more of that!

Another chicken curry!
Now settled down by the fire sipping some very smoky Islay whisky.
