What's A Good Breed Of Dog.

I know a Cane Corso. She is a very sweet dog.

I'd never heard of that breed of dog before Gig, i just looked it up, they're some size when fully grown.

That dog looks like a young, brindle English Mastiff..........my brother had a tan one called 'Boss' it weighed 17 stone when it was fully grown.

Don't know about 'Mastiff' it was certainly 'Massive'.

Some strength those dogs TJ and some height as well when they stand on their back paws. Beautiful dogs and by all accounts gentle giants.

Yes Vicks, he was very placid, at that size they don't have to be aggressive. He was very slobbery though, so not my cup of tea as dogs go.

My dogs slobbers as well at times TJ, usually when there's food about. It can be quite dodgy because it makes the kitchen floor slippy.

A neighbour has a dog like that, you could put a saddle on it... And enter the grand National, huge bliddy thing but dopey and gentle.

Good natured, deep loud frightening bark and slobbery. Great guard dogs.

I'm looking after her. Her original owner, who I don't know, apparently moved to a flat where he couldn't have a dog. Someone who knew him brought the dog round to a friend of mine who agreed to take him in, though temporarily. She liked the dog though. Some advisor told her she would be evicted unless she moved quickly. She can't have a dog where she is. Its difficult for me.

That's a photo of my dog Jack that was taken last week justpops. Hes a gentle giant that loves children, but he doesn't like other dogs.

The other great dog I had was a Rhodesian Ridge Back when I was growing up. Damn thing would follow me to school.

The nuns were not happy.

I've had 3 Rhodesian Ridgebacks, fantastic dogs.
Loving, faithful beyond belief, intelligent, fast enough to catch and kill squirrels and incredible watch dogs.
Possibly the best breed of dog in the world in my opinion.
Might buy another one soon as one of my saints can barely walk now.
Back legs have gone.

Don't they cost about a grand or more?
