Uhh! I am Alice Trout you are looking for.
A dentist in Delhi called me Alice when he pulled a tooth in 1974 and when I arrived in London the same year I took one look at a tree and knew I had to become a gardener.
I added Trout in honour of Kilgore Trout, which surely I do not have to explain.
I worked in gardens around South Kensington. Walked miles across London, barefoot, with a gardening fork and a grin. Remember the 100 Club when it was Jazz,
Had a ball.
