How good of you to find the time to come all this way over here and start a World Cup thread....even though it's still months away and Vicky said she'd start one nearer the time.

I bet you're the sort of person to run round people's houses so you can be the first person to tell them their relatives have been killed in an accident.

40 days and it's occupying the news now. Gunfights etc. Sounds fun.

You are the very wise chap who said Max Clifford would get community service.
Now you say the World Cup is months & months away. It starts next month. Stop inhaling them dodgy fumes in your lorry cabin.

Yes there have been terrible gunfights and raids in the cities the teams will be staying in, and no one knows for sure if the stadium will be built in time.
:thud:

Anyway ....moving on. The FA ditched Armani designer outfits in 2006 (navy blue suit, white shirt and a light blue tie. )
It will be off-the-peg Marks & Spencer suits again, retailing at £199.00 each
Looking sharp & dapper :wubwub:

No, not long now, our kid. I hope the main stadium will be built in time.
Yep, they look good. The new outfit is a tad retro, no? The drainpipes-&-winklepickers look? They are still handsome devils tho. :wubbers: Bring it on!

Few world cup stats:

Most number of appearances (19) - Brazil

Youngest player ever aged 17 - Norman Whiteside

Oldest player ever aged 42 - Roger Milla

Fastest goal from kickoff ... 11 seconds - Hakkan Sukkur

Most wins (Brazil 1958, 1962, 1970) - Pele

Most matches played - Lothar Matthaus

Biggest victory 10-1 ... . - Magyorszag vs El Salvador

No doubt there are more records waiting to be broken in the next tournament.
