There are way too many forums within this 'group', catering for too few people. I guess folks will just mainly stick to the one they feel most comfortable and familiar with. Dogs is where I started back in February, and Dogs is where I always head to first.

Invariably the best, or worst bits are transferred from one to another or at least you feel you get the gist of what is going on everywhere else.

For example, it has crossed my mind to join BF, to try and at least confront some of the lies and vicious crap Daft/Fluff used to spout over there about me and others. But the fact is, I instinctively couldn't trust Purr anywhere around any IP or email details of mine. And I'm just not into faffing around to set myself up with proxy stuff.

Oh yes the posting of a picture of Fluffy's house. I don't seem to remember much outrage when a photo of my house was posted on BF and as far as i know it's still there.

No, the person has registered the site with ICANN. The url can be sold or transferred to someone else and the new details would have to be registered. They can be hidden for a small fee but if say some illegal content was on the site, law enforcement could reasonably ask ICANN for the registration details.
