Ray McKinnon Manager of the Month

The Club is pleased to announce that Manager Ray McKinnon has agreed new contract terms. Whilst the terms of the contract remain confidential it is fair to say that the new contract clearly shows Ray’s commitment to The Club and the squad of players he has built around him.

Chairman Ken Ferguson said ‘I am delighted that Ray has signed new terms with us and that he continues to see his future at Brechin City. Ray and his coaching colleagues, Grant & Darren, are settled here with us and with 50 victories under their belt they are eager to bring more success to the Club.’

Manager Ray McKinnon said ‘Having joined Brechin City in October 2012 I am now pleased to renew my commitment to the Club. We have carefully built a squad capable of competing with the best in our league and possibly beyond. As we go into the final stages of the season I wanted to show my commitment to the players that have got us where we are so far and to the Club’s officials and supporters.

Neil Lennon is the latest person to speak out on behalf of Josh Meekings and said the SFA were wrong to ban him.

I hope the ban gets overturned and as you say, the guy might never get the chance to play in a final again.

I love NFL and I followed the Houston Oilers - being one of the worst teams in the NFL. They upped sticks and moved to Tennessee. I refused to follow the Titans as a matter of principle.

I liked big Gav, he was a smashing rugby player.

A lot of people reckon, he was Scotland's best ever player.

His brother Scott, was good as well.

It could have set a dangerous precedent.

Not just in Scotland, but all over the world.
