I do think the way dogs are treated in countries like China is appalling. I do eat other animals though so some people might call me a hypocrite.

No you aren't a hypocrite.

I mean some people abroad, think beaten dogs to death, makes them tastier.

How many people in this country would eat cows etc, if that's how they were killed?

Caesar has passed away.

He was rescued from the circus in 2007 along with a Lioness called Sarah.

Sad news, but at least he had nine happy years before he died.

A wonderful article on swimming with Tiger sharks and a new study on the possible maximum size of the mysterious Giant squid (Architeuthis dux).

The shark article took ages to download. I'm glad I waited
But I don't want to know the maximum size of the Archite-wotsit, TYVM! :doomed:

Vic, what'll happen when this thread hits the 100? Are we going to have Cecil Part 2? :smilin:

Yeah, Keys - having trouble getting sleepy tonight :dunno: It happens.

I think Vic'll probably call the next one 'Cecil Part 2'. She's very attached to this thread (& she's not the only one  )
