I have often said that the majority of people in this country have no idea as to the extent of crime committed in this country by people who shouldn't be here. So I decided to do a bit of research to back up my claims because people say I exaggerate to further a perceived xenophobic/ racist agenda. Even I couldn't believe what I found.

Below are the names of 174 people who are not native to this country. They come from a larger list of names - 693 to be precise - of people convicted and jailed for murder, attempted murder and manslaughter. Amongst those named below, perhaps half a dozen are not cold blooded murderers - but I have included them in the list because the details of their convictions for manslaughter and attempted murder were almost as horrific as murder itself.

Because of the scale of my findings, I decided that it was sufficient just to use these people to prove my point - so I chose not to include the names of foreigners convicted of manslaughter for dangerous driving or the names of those murderers etc., who are clearly second or third generation migrants, if I had, the number of names below would be doubled.

What is most disturbing about the list below is that it isn't a record of a decade of violent crime - or even 5 years - it's ONE YEAR - 2014.

The floodgates were opened in 1986 with the passing of the ESA. John Major then signed up the accession countries in 1996 to join the EU in 2004.
