I don't remember Davie Provan from his Rangers days, but i knew him from his time as the Rovers Manager.

A survey has revealed that violent threats against footballers in Scotland is three times higher than anywhere else in the world.

The figures were revealed following a survey by the players union Fifpro who questioned 14,000 male players in 54 countries.

169 players from 9 randomly picked Scottish clubs were asked.

(Rangers and Celtic weren't among the clubs asked)

34% of players in Scotland reported threats of violence on match day

20% of players in Scotland had experienced discrimination (About Race, Religion and sexuality) by fans

Oh and that photo of the police and the mention of the violence following the Scottish Cup Final.

It was the Rangers players who were attacked, the Hibs fans were out of control.
