I too love bees..... i’ve had one crawl on me and sat on my hand for ages (5 mins :gigglesnshit: ) before it’s flown away :wubwub:

well if you have a garden or patio (they aren't too big if you keep them in a pot) get one of those, they are a pretty plant and the bees can't resist

I shall look for one... thanks  ..... I have a small sauce pot (acquired from the pub ) that I leave out with sugar water in.... have noticed it being used many times :wubwub:.... my parents garden is a haven for bees :wubbers:

Aww, you would find a kindred spirit in my husband. He loves bees, even had one briefly as a pet when he was a kid. :gigglesnshit:

I've saw a giant hornet this week. And yesterday something smaller kept stinging me on the back of my legs. Right by a main artery. It bloody hurt and it kept coming back for more. I think it was a baby hornet.

So watch out. And if you chance kill it. The Rip whole bees best apart.

But yet you approved it?

I know you 'told Dean off, btw'.

The derailment on this thread from certain members and guests, just isn't fair to the guy that spends time finding informative links to many interesting facts in the hope it will interest people.

As far as bees go - I have a honeysuckle and blackberry bramble bush.

I love watching bees pollinating the flowers.

And unlike wasps, bees don't seem to care if you're there - they just want to get on with the job in hand

I suppose it's because they're so placid - unlike wasps, that buzz around frantically, reacting to any sudden movement.
