Talking of Paris St-Germain..

It looks as though Alexis Sanchez, will be playing for them next season.

Alexis has been disappointing this season and it all started out so well for him at Arsenal.

It's a shame, he turned out to be a wee chancer.

In less than two weeks!!

Rangers and Celtic will play each other for only the second time in four years and what a game it promises to be.

TJ!!!

Once again you were slagging the SPL off, which is something you do frequently.

Yet you admit, you've never watched any of our games.

How can you diss us, when you've never seen any of our teams playing? Image

Remind us again Victoria, when is it summer in Scotland this year, is it June 21st., or the Fourth of July?

Sanchez still has 3 years left on his Arsenal contract, the only way he's going anywhere is if Arsenal let him.

PSG might have all the money in the world but Arsenal don't need it - Like I said weeks ago, "in the world of the very rich, being very, very rich isn't much of an advantage."

Sanchez has struggled a bit this season and was out with an injury for 10 games - he also has just come through 2 years of almost non stop football for Chile and Arsenal - he got a bit burnt out I think.

Fortunately, he looked a lot better and a lot like his old self last weekend against Watford, his movement was good and he scored and laid on Alex Iwobi's goal.

It's hard to keep up with you!!

A couple of weeks ago, you said Sanchez had been a shadow of himself and you wouldn't mind if he left.

One good game and suddenly, he's back to his old self.

If he'd played up to his price tag against the likes of Watford, Swansea and Chelsea!!

Arsenal wouldn't have lost needless points. Image

Ex Premier League referee and now pundit and newspaper columnist, Graham Poll has said refereeing standards have now fallen so low, he believes the Premier League is being let down - but nothing is being done about it.

He puts the blame solely on the shoulders of the 'Professional Game Match Officials Ltd' the private company which supplies the Premier League with it's match-day officials and specifically it's head, Mike Riley - he said the company is 'no longer fit for purpose'

He blames Riley for putting inexperienced referees in control of big games and destroying the confidence of better referees.

He said "There is no-one for the younger and newer referees to look up to any more, when Howard Webb retired 2 years ago, Riley ensured no-one else took centre stage away from him." The result has been a raft of poor decisions during games, rescinded red cards after appeal, poor penalty and offside calls and a complete lack of guidance from their employer.

He finished by saying that if action is not taken by the Premier League in the closed season, the greatest league in the world will become a laughing stock.

Could you provide a link to this "Greatest League" in the world claim?

Your opinion doesn't make it so.

Unlike almost every other club in the Premier League, Arsenal have no fear any more of losing players in the transfer window circus each year.

In fact, history has proven that they never really had anything to fear, as even when they did lose players like Thierry Henry, Robin van Persie, Cesc Fabregas etc. etc., at the end of the season, the Gunners were still in the top four, year after year.

The same can't be said for the other clubs, if they were to lose one or two of their top players, the affect on the club would be devastating and see them tumbling down the league.

What many people don't see is the enormous amount of work Arsene Wenger does behind the scenes, work that gets little or no notice until it bears fruition.

Arsenal could lose several top players in a summer transfer window, it wouldn't make a lot of difference to the squad because Wenger has ready-made replacements in every department, just waiting their chance.

Getting back to Rangers and their promotion to the SPL.

They only lost 12 games in four years.

Just look at the worldwide audience figures and the colossal amounts of money paid by TV companies, advertisers and sponsors, clambering to get a chance to be associated with it - say the name of a Premier League club in pretty much every country in the world, most people will know who you are talking about.

Look at all the summer tours other countries organise and pay small fortunes just to get Premier League clubs to play in person on their turf, many are booked up years in advance - The Australians for instance were bragging at the beginning of the season that they have arranged for Arsenal to come and play there - In two years time!

It's is all the proof you need - it is by far the greatest football league in the world by a huge margin.

In nearly 30 years of being a football supporter, I have never watched or been tempted to watch, a game in the EPL.
