Well England won last night, fairly well I thought, and it was quite a decent game.

My main concern is Darren Fletcher's injury, I'm really hoping it's not serious as we have RoboCop's Spurs on Sat and they are flying in the league! Northern Ireland also won, which was good as we had 2 players in that team. Must just add, how proud of Darren Fletcher being Scotland captain and singing the anthem with such pride.

I'll be happy to wear my virtual Rangers shirt on the 23rd , hope they win!

Wales later on, hope Hal Robson Kanu can start and we have a ex Baggie there as well, James Chester.

Hi Cat. Image

Daz has a dead leg and he'll miss our game on Tuesday against Slovakia, but hopefully he'll be fit for the Spurs game.

That was his 75th cap for Scotland last night.

If he hadn't had to take two years off because of his illness, he would have more than a 100 caps now.

Joe Barton was due to return to Rangers tomorrow after his three week ban, but his ban has been extended by another week.

Rangers released a statement earlier, but they didn't give a reason for the extra week's ban.

Talking of Engerland..

I was reading about Gareth Southgate this morning and Southgate being involved in some tax avoidance scheme.

Are all your managers either crooked or hopeless?

Sometimes they're both. :bawlin:

Still I can't say I was anything other than pleased when Chunky Sam got his marching orders. As Shearer put it afterwards- 'England are a laughing stock'. He's right, it's embarrassing. :shake head:

Hi Robs. Image

A lot of people aren't happy with our manager at the moment either.

After our draw on Saturday against Lithuania, a lot of people think wee Gordon should get his jotters.

World Cup Qualifying Action Tonight!!

Slovakia v Scotland

Kick Off 19:45 pm

We really need to get something from tonight's game after our disappointing draw on Saturday.

Gordon Strachan's team selection for that game, once again baffled us.

Wee Gordon insisted on playing Chris Martin who hasn't scored in twenty games for his club and left Leigh Griffiths on the bench.

Most people will be aware..

I don't like Glasgow Celtic, but even i can't deny, Leigh Griffiths is the best striker Scotland have.

So tonight, i better see Leigh Griffiths belting out the Flower Of Scotland and not wearing a tracksuit and sitting on the bench.

I didn't see the game Frank. :header:

I'm glad France won though, after all they're the Auld Alliance.

Well look who it is..

It's Leigh Griffiths wearing a tracksuit and sitting on the bench!!

You are one clueless twat Strachan and thanks for fucking up, our World Cup campaign already.

If you had an ounce of decency, you would resign, but you haven't, so you won't.

I said, we had to get something from last night's game and all we got was gubbed and rid faces.

I wouldn't go so far as to call England shite last night, but they were only marginally above that description IMO.
I only saw the second half, but Slovenia seemed to be all over England, their passing from their end, through midfield was great, giving England lessons, but their finishing let them down a bit, plus Joe Hart played very well.
After every match involving England, fans form a line to slag off this player or that one, or the manager, perhaps they should record the game, watch it again, and notice how much better the opposition often is, compared to England's heroes.

They needed to up their game against this kind of opposition (compared to Malta and even so - look at that result) and they just didn't do that. Agree about Joe Hart - he kept them in it, and boy did they need being kept in it!

England drawing 0-0 was a good result for Scotland, sorry if that sounds selfish.

It's the game of the group next, England v Scotland!!

It's going to be a cracker.

Oh and if getting beat 3-0 last night wasn't bad enough, loads of people are laughing at Scotland's strips.

I said when they were launched, that playing in pink was a bad idea!!
