55 year old Luciano Ponzeto was on another shoot, when he slipped and fell 100ft down a ravine.

This Reindeer caused a lot of outrage on Saturday, due to how thin he is.
The Reindeer in question is from the Reindeer Centre at Capralama Farm in Kent.
The Centre claimed he was in good health, he certainly doesn't look it.

Could be old with worn or ruined teeth. In the wild his condition would have already killed him. In captivity he can slowly starve to death.

The centre clearly aren't feeding him properly.

If he is old with bad teeth, he can't eat. That's what leads to the death of many old deer. They get thin and malnourished. They become slow and eaten.

Vets work on livestock knowing they will be killed. Then the vets go home and eat a hamburger. Most vets understand the cycle of life.

You don't know he's got bad teeth, because his teeth aren't visible.
It's funny how he was eating all the carrots people were giving him.
It was probably the first food, he had seen in days.

Madders I've known you for years and I'm rather fond of you.
But!!
We're just going to have to accept, we're never going to agree over hunting.

If you were a vegan, it would make more sense. Right now the UK kills 75 million animals a year for people to eat. Veterinarians work to keep those animals alive and healthy so that they can be killed and eaten later. Hunting is no more or less ethical. As long as you don't threaten the existence of a species.
