I honestly can't remember why you got banned Dinky, but I was referring to the way you so often take an unusual perspective on something; or a small element of a discussion; and stick with it despite being a lone voice. I wasn't actually criticising you at all - it is an unusual and often entertaining technique (sometimes exasperating)

They banned me for "baseless speculation" because the police said they searched the gunmans house in germany and didn't find any links to terrorism and i made the point that what they said didn't mean there weren't any links only that they didn't find any in his house and it was being splashed across news/newspapers in GIANT FONT that there were NO LINKS TO TERRORISM.

That was the very first time I'd mentioned contrarianism... you were talking to a guest before that. I was on a simple "Yes I am Contrarian" - "No I am not a Contrarian" no correct answer thing I was wondering why it went on for so long.

It was only a trap in the sense that the answer to the question was reversed depending on what you believed. Out of a sample size of 3 people where 2 people believe I'm a contrarian and I am neither way and waiting for evidence to assess and form an opinion if I was a contrarian then I would say i'm not, however, if I believed I wasn't then I would say I am.
