Pack of scampi fries and frazzles later.

Mash mixed with horseradish sauce is lovely.... especially when it's accompanying a beef dish

Oh thats a thought. I've no horseradish but I could use Dijon mustard?

I do a thing that I saw a recipe for years ago with beef

beetroot (the ready cooked in a vacuum pack thing, not pickled) a large glug or 2 of balsamic, dollop of horseradish, teasoon of brown sugar and stick it in a blender - taste and adjust to your own taste

it's a sort of cross between a sauce and a side veg

That sounds intersting. I have the beetroot and sugar no balsamic or horseradish but I will put them on my list and try it because I only ever have my beetroot grated or juiced so this would be a good alternative.

Thanks

I enjoy seeing everyones recipe suggestions by the way and often try them out myself. :smilin: :smilin:

I think the only reason Stooo doesn't ban me is because I put him onto baked crispy kale

Not tried that yet. I had baked green beans in a crisp packet from Aldi though, surprisingly nice - chipstick texture.

I'm doing slow cooked lamb shanks Jamie Oliver styleee

it has marmalade, raisins, worcestershire sauce, ketchup, ale, stock & red onions in it so gawd knows what the end result will be

we'll have mash, crispy spring greens and possibly carrots with it

https://www.jamieoliver.com/videos/slow ... ie-oliver/

it's only a 3 minute vid

oooo it has mint oil drizzled over at the end - I will probably cheat and use mint sauce as the mint in the garden is looking a bit cat-chewed :yikes:
