Going out tonite for our valentines meal. :wubbers: I have to work early Thursday morning so we decided tonite was a better option. No worries about drinking wine or fizzy and having a sore head the next morning.

We’re doing pancake day tomorrow instead.

Comfort food day.

Fresh bread for dipping?

Yep! Shop bought loaf just isn’t the same :shake head:

I should start to use my bread machine again.

Do it! There’s nothing more glorious than the smell of freshly baked bread.

I’m on my freezer rescue food today. Leek and potato soup is defrosting.

Lemon juice, sugar and chocolate sauce. Squirty cream too if I’m feeling adventurous

On our pancakes tonight we had lemon juice, sliced bananas and cream. They were delish!

Prior to that we had sausages, chips (oven) and baked beans.

For lunch we had homemade quiche with reduced salad from Tesco and some lovely fresh beetroot with lemon and herb. That was really tasty.

I love some sliced, pickled beetroot. Fish it off of a plate rather than make a soggy sarnie
