Yes, it’s an unfortunate side effect of veg like cabbage, sprouts, cauliflower and broccoli. I do love my veg though.

OMG Chive mash is divine!
tonight I am making prawn curry and egg fried rice.
Didnt have to cook last night as we went out for a meal. Steak, chips, tomatoes, peas and mushrooms followed by apple crumble and custard.
Sometimes called 'Champ'. That's nice as well.
Had to google Colcannon - not heard of that one! Sounds good..... fry it up and you got bubble and squeak!!malamute wrote:VR6storm wrote:I've made enough for seconds for Sunday Lunch - the beef obviously.... will do some more mash fresh on the day. Brought up on it VR6 as I’m half Irish.
Have you tried Colcannon - thats another family favourite. We also loved soda bread made with buttermilk, brack and many other lovely traditional Irish foods.

You sound to me like you enjoy cooking. I do too, but get sick of the same thing.
So it’s nice to see what everyone is eating and to get different ideas!
