I come from the outskirts of Glasgow and i only really know where London is.

Any part of the country west of the Pennines and between Liverpool/Manchester and the Scottish border, as a rough guide.

Liverpool, Manchester, Chester etc. However IPs can be funny things. Sometimes they your router can place you in a different region of the UK however as Scotland is a country it should show as his IP, not England.

My IP location is several miles from where i actually am, but it's still in Scotland, his ain't.

Technically your IP could be anywhere in the UK.
