Even on this little backwater site it's no different. I noticed that the DS thread is on it's 86th chapter, thats a minimum of 8,600 pages of what is mostly arguing, bickering, name calling, trolling, outrage and any other name you care to call it.

I know some venture out now and again into the main forum and it isn't always just to follow someone else to continue the fight but by and large it's confrontation and retaliation that really gets their juices flowing.

What a strange world we live in. :shake head:

Not really a strange world, this is dogs forum an arguing/trollfest forum. If you want serious debates there are many many other sites you can log into

That wasn't my point and neither was it all about this forum and I take issue with your interpretation of Dogs - there is much serious debate on here and some very intelligent people involved in it - you probably miss that because your're too immersed in the troll threads to notice.

Take away the DS thread and forum levels out between the two quite nicely.

The DS thread has its moments, but there was a lot of discussion that went on in there. It was heated at times, but there was usually a point to the bickering.

You’ll find most of the regular posters in the DS thread now spend more time out of the DS thread than they do in it. It’s dead. DS has died and with it the discussion. These days it’s only active if the trolling from elsewhere happens in the DS thread.

Well my older sis left a message that the Stomes were touring and do I wanna go, she knows I’m a bit of a fan, just looked online for tickets and standing room is £100,sitting is £150 minimum. They can fuck off. I’ll just go to the museum and look at some relics with them playing in my headphones instead, for a fraction of the cost. :snooty:

Concert tickets have become ridiculously expensive. Ten+ years ago I saw them and the tickets were $50 CDN which is roughly £30. Have people’s average earnings increased 500% in that time? It’s crazy. And there’s too many people/groups buying up blocks of tickets and then reselling them at huge profits (scalping). And there’s also the aspect of concerts selling out in less than an hour because of how quickly things happen online.
