Photos taken with an older phone are probably ok, it's only the very latest phones and digital cameras that can give the actual location and map, like the one you posted.

I am not an Apple fanboy but in Android you can set permissions for location/storage access for apps...

I still don’t know how to find out if the avi I used yesterday of my dog had all that info on it but if any of you people try to come sneaking in my bed be warned I am having butter beans for tea.

Anyway, cheers to the guest who suggested turning the location off on photos, I wouldn’t even have known it was on. It’s quite unsettling all this.
