I wasn't admin then and as I kept out of the Micky stuff I don't really have any recollection of how it went down

after puzzler asking for info to dox me from people who were proper into it all I take it seriously, not for effect but because I know how vulnerable it can make you feel

Doxing is a complete different ball game to exif data.


Like I could post a generic picture of Switzerland and claim that it was taken by me. Now some skeptics may choose to validate my post by checking the exif data or doing a reverse image search on the image. It doesn't lead to doxing...

Yes, doxing is someone posting your name, address, place of work etc, I don't know how that can be got from a photo

How can it be so precise? I'm going to have to check this out on some pics I've taken now, what do I need to do to get this data?

It gives exact GPS coordinates and also altitude, and loads of other information. I downloaded something from the App Store yesterday to check what my exif data on that photo was. There are websites that can remove exif for you, or apps like this one “exif viewer” on your phone.
