Chinese chicken, chorizo pasta and feta cubes. Fusion confusion. :gigglesnshit:

Tomorrow is meatloaf, fried baby potatoes, sprouts or peas, and lemon drizzle cake for afters.

Hope all the dads out there have a nice day. :wubbers:

just wondering whether anybody uses a tagine to cook. I ask because my friend and I ended up in an Algerian cafe at lunchtime and the food was served in tagines and it was delicious. Obviously I’ve seen them around for many years but never used one myself.

I cook lots of stews and casseroles and have lidded dishes in every size and shape and I cant really see that a tagine would do a better job. I have decluttered my kitchen considerably and dont want to buy a tagine to add to the clutter again but I am tempted as I often see them in charity shops .... maybe thats says something!

i just had a poached egg on toast tonight as we had a good lunch.

It was bloody fabulous! :wubwub:

Mr D had squid... followed by jerk seasoned rack of ribs. Not my cup of tea - but he seemed quite delighted with them. :gigglesnshit:

:Hiya:

Tagines are fantastic..... They create steam, so really keep the contents nice and succulent.
Wouldn't be without mine.

They are quit tall though so keep to the bottom of the oven.

Nice to see you back.

I'm thinking of going to the Norfolk broads on holiday, and wanted your thoughts on reccomendations(sp)
